- Under the new guidelines issued by the UAE government, passports that list only a single name will not be accepted for travel on any UAE aircraft, across all 7 Emirates.
- Additional documents will be required for travellers under 18 years of age who are travelling alone.
- Travellers must submit their airline tickets at least 72 hours before their journey, excluding weekends (Saturday and Sunday), to ensure their OK TO BOARD (OTB) is processed on time.
- The OK TO BOARD requirement applies specifically to applicants who have an Emigration Check Required Stamp on their passport.
